Can you ever have enough Green friends?
We’ve been very lucky to have crossed paths with many inspiring individuals trying to make a positive mark on the world, including environmentalist Chris Packham. Just as many individual drops make up a whole ocean, we believe the true power is in working together, as small changes can lead to a big impact.
Throwback to March this year…when we had the opportunity to share our Green Mission with Chris, in person, and let him test our green heroes with his poodles, Sid and Nancy. The outcome was Really Wild (😉) as, after testing the bags to their limits, Chris (and the dogs) decided they loved our plastic-free poo bags so much that it was worth barking from the wooftops about on his socials. Thank you, Chris!
Rather like Team GREEN POOP BAG, Chris is always innovating and adapting, so when the news came that there was to be no Autumnwatch (in its full form, at least) on BBC this year, he came up with an alternative and self-funded way to showcase wildlife and the season’s changes with ‘8 out of 10 Bats,’ which was broadcast for free on YouTube. Not only did this help put people in touch with nature, but it also became a platform for young and amateur naturalists to air their footage and photographs – what a great way to inspire the next generation of conservationists!
